i-COLON is a tastelicious lemon flavored powder blend of high molecular weight polyethylene glycol 118 gm, potassium chloride 1.484 gm, sodium bicarbonate 3.37 gm, sodium chloride 2.93 gm and sodium sulphate 11.36 gm used for gastrointestinal lavage / emptying the colon.

Mode of action:
When 1-2 liters of i-COLON solution is taken, the ingredient Polyethylene Glycol leads to an increase in the volume of fluids in the colon. This distends the colon and there by stretch the receptors resulting in increased peristaltic movements. This produces voluminous liquid stool.
The role of Sodium Chloride, Sodium Sulphate, Potassium Chloride and Sodium Bicarbonate salts is to prevent both loss and net absorption of ions from the body.

Dosage:
The recommended dosage is 1-2 liters of solution of i-COLON in drinking water.
Preparation and Administration Method:
One pack of i-COLON has to be dissolved in drinking water to make 2 liters. Pour into a cup (approx. 200ml) the dissolved solution and administer 5 cups in 1 hour. It is necessary that the total time take for consuming 2 liters of i-COLON solution should not exceed 2 hours.
The first bowel movement should occur approximately 1 hour after the start of i-COLON administration. And then, as evacuation occurs several times, keep administering the remaining I-COLON solution.
